1. Combating Digital Divide
Inequality in knowledge often occurs because of limited source of information in the other party. This is not a rare sight in the community, therefore unequal distribution of knowledge is to be expected. Some people would feel inferior because of this lack in knowledge source. To be able to suppress this kind of problem in the community, we must try to connect to other people. We must build bridges to connect to one another, to help one another.
Nothing can suppress human curiosity, so we need to help each one of us if we really want to reach success.
2.Combating Digital Addiction
Addiction is an overly used word in the common world. The more we advance, the more we become addicted to things we create. Which is, in any angle, stupid. As humans, we often refer to ourselves as superior creatures. Fighting one another over superiority is stupid enough, how much more when we let the things we create control us?
I think we should go back to reality and do some other things that would keep ourselves busy. We must also keep in our minds that technology is something we make, not something that makes us.
3. Combating Bullying
Bullying, is yet another problem society tries to suppress, but can't. Millions of people around the globe are slaves of bullying. Bullying is making yourself superior by belittling other people. Which is, again in any angle, does not make yourself superior at all. Bullying is a bad thing, it makes you a bad person. And being a bad person does not make you superior at all. It's downgrading yourself, wrecking yourself in the best way.
To combat bullying, we must carry ourselves with full confidence because that's the only way to keep the predators away from us.
4. Promoting Ethical Use of MIL
Learning MIL is an important part of our society because learning modern technological advances is what we need to succeed in the modern world. Knowing this advances is knowing the real world. This is what companies seek most in new employees. That's why we need to widen our knowledge in these aspects.
MIL is the bridge to successful technological advancements.
5.The Opportunities and Challenges to Media and Information
We, as humans, have a lot of stuff to do and maintain to fit in in society's standards." If you have these, you're rich. But if you don't, then, you're not." This lines have gone throughout the course of history. Which I think, in societal view, is and could probably be true. People in the higher levels of society tend to have things that people in lower levels don't. Which is a good way to have and gather knowledge more effectively.
Opportunity and challenges often come at the same time; the way yin yang does. We must maintain the balance of the two for us to be able to cope up with the challenges of life.
