      Combat Digital Divide
The digital divide is the gap between individuals and communities that have access to information technologies and those that don't.
To bridge the gap of the digital divide we must create new innovative solutions to the pervasive problems of poverty. We must educate and empower the young, the old,the rich, and the poor. When this is done our economies become stronger, our advances come quicker. Our hungry eat and our sick get better.Working together on a global level we can correct bad legislation, create new affirmative legislation, gain a better use of current technologies and innovative new ones.

 Combat Addiction
Technology addiction is not just a phase. It’s real, it’s happening and it’s spreading like a virus. So what can we do about this new epidemic, and how can we release our attachment to tech?
Here are some tips that can possibly help:
Eliminate rather than streamline wherever possible
Learn moderation and limit your use of technology; experiment with short periods of inaccessibility or electronic free time
Set time limits when using your technology
Write a “Not-to-do list.”
Make a list of things you could do instead of being on your device(s) and try to do them in your spare time
Go Green. Choose outdoor activities instead of technology.
Find your pleasure point.
Hire a virtual assistant to take care of some of your work that involves technology
Find a buddy or accountability partner to help you with your problem.
The more aware you are about your relationship with technology, the more empowered you become.

Combat Bullying
Bullying does not always happen in person. Cyber bullying is a type of bullying that happens online or through text messages or emails. There are things you can do to protect yourself.
Always think about what you post. You never know what someone will forward. Being kind to others online will help to keep you safe. Do not share anything that could hurt or embarrass anyone.
Keep your password a secret from other kids. Even kids that seem like friends could give your password away or use it in ways you don’t want. Let your parents have your passwords.
Think about who sees what you post online. Complete strangers? Friends? Friends of friends? Privacy settings let you control who sees what.
Keep your parents in the loop. Tell them what you’re doing online and who you’re doing it with. Let them friend or follow you. Listen to what they have to say about what is and isn’t okay to do. They care about you and want you to be safe.
Talk to an adult you trust about any messages you get or things you see online that make you sad or scared. If it is cyber bullying, report it.

Opportunities and Challenges of Media and Information                                              The internet opens the door to new information sources but finding the right information can be a challenge, writes Jay Katzen of Elsevier
Webster’s dictionary defines “breakthrough” as ‘a sudden advance, especially in knowledge or technique.’ Any researcher, however, can tell you that there is nothing “sudden” about these advances. The amount of time and energy invested to bring the thinking forward in one’s field, much less create a significant discovery, is enormous. Dedication and patience have always been required, but now new tools and technologies are becoming increasingly critical to success.
