Combat Digital  Divide
              In this generation, technology is very useful and very important, especially to students like me, who really need to have research and to gather more information. But, we can't deny the fact that not all of us can access to the internet, because some of us can't  provide their own devices.
               In my own opinion, there are people who cannot afford to buy an internet device like, computer,smartphones,laptop etc. In other word ,not all people have devices because of the financial problem. they have no badget and they cannot provide their own devices because of the finances . And low salary in terms of their work. To reduce or combat the gap between groups in terms in digital divide is that, their ,must be an organization to provide people who does not have the devices. And to those people who have gadgets that can access the internet should help other people in share their idea to those people who's not familliar in using internet.

Combat digital addiction

          According to what I have read internet addiction is an increasingly prevalent problem that affects a lot people. It can have serious effects on the mental and emotional health of addicts.

      In this generation, many has been addicted to digital devices like computer internet surfing cellphone etc., especially to the teenagers. To reduce or combat this problem,we must manage our time and we should limit our selves in using internet.We should know our limitations in using technologies


 Combat Cyberbullying

         According to the Republic Act No.10627 or the Anti-bullying Act of 2013,"Bullying" refers to any severe, or repeated use by one or more students of a written, verbal or electronic expression, or a physical act or gesture, or any combination thereof, directed at another student that  has the effect of actually causing or placing the latter in reasonable fear of physical or emotional harm or damage to his/her property.Creating a hostle environment at school for the other student; infringing on the rights of another student school, or materially and substantially disrupting the education process or the orderly operation of a school.
         The term "bullying" shall also include; social billying or Cyberbullying.Cyberbullying
is bullying that happens through the use of technology or any electronic means.The term shall also include any conduct resulting to harrassment, intimidation, or humiliation, through the use of other forms of technology, such as, but not limited to texting, email, instant messaging, chatting, internet, social media, online games, or other platforms  or format as defined in Deped order No.40,s.2012.
           With the help of any other form of bullying provided in the school's child protection or anti-bullying policy, bullying may prevent.


Promote Ethical Use Of Media and Information
   
        Promoting ethical use of media and information is very important. Because it can prevent the issue of digital divide,cyberbullying and especially digital addiction which is very commo  to us.
        For me, if we can promote ethical use of media and information,we can now get reliable informatio from the internet especially in social media.



Opportunities And Challenges In Media and Information

         Social media is very important.Because, it gives us information especially in terms of political aspect.
         And one of the opportunities of media and information is political dimension.Political dimension,act as watchdog of government in all its forms,promoting transparency in public life and public scrupting of those with power by exposing corruption and corporate  wrong doing.
         As what I have said, social media is important and very useful.But, we should always put in our mind that not all information that we heard and read reliable.
