combating digital divide
Our generation has embraced the technology much more than the normal use of it. Lots of things had shown up in the internet (games, social sites,etc)
But few of us use these stuffs in a right way. Most of us forgot its real role in our lives. By media we can access and spread things we like to share in just a couple of seconds. But this had gone through things that had caused negativity to others.
Like Digital Divide, yes our generation's surrounded with different kind of technologies but dies anyone had the access? Can evrybody afford it? We all know that some of us were not fortunate. So how can they access media without sources?
combating cyber bullying
Through media, people can use this in any ways they want. Like the virtual self.. This is not just used by hackers or black mailers, etc. Also by some bloggers. It's just that they didn't had that self confidence to show off their selveson media because of the fear of being bullied online. This is where cyber bullying occur. For when someone had the control or power to overrule o someone then they'll post it on media and so whatever.Bullying; there are lots of ways to bully someone. And cyber bullying was one of the easiest ways to hurt and make somebody miserable by posting nasty things about the victim
Aside from that negative things, also the digital addiction. This happens mostly to those gamers. For they can't live a single day without accessing the thing they're badly engage to.
Addiction; this is a certain sickness which an individual can't live without doing or opening the media stuffs they're badly and madly connected
promoting Ethical use of MIL
In media we find informations and we get those informations to help us in a certain thing. And others had the courage to help us ad yet protected by the website they had posted their ideas like it has a copy right date given.The use of MIL is for us to learn using technology in good ways not in the way others was using it
OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES OF MEDIA AND INFORMATION
Some of the challenges of media information literacy is the thing on how the information was released and on what and how the public react to it .These are just own thoughts of the blogger according to what she'd seen on the technology world these days
